“Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored, than to anything on which it is poured” – Mark Twain
That’s why I believe it is so important not to let it in!
It can eat you from the inside out. That’s why I want to pour love and happiness into your thoughts, it’s the only way for you to heal, to reach a state of being that will help you to get the things you want out of your life, to meet like-minded people or to help them be more aware of this possibility.
NO! You say: I am angry, you’ve done me wrong, you are this, you are that! … Really? Is it really them who can dictate your state of mind? Your state of being? Are you willing to give someone else such power, when it comes to how you feel? Are they deserving of it?
What good did you get by being angry? Please… write it down…
I was capable of…
My life turned out to be such a … because I was angry.
I felt joy and fulfillment when I was angry …
Is it?
OR…
It felt like someone put a hole inside my soul… it felt bitter! I felt like crushing something or someone. I lashed out at my kids just because they caught me in a moment of anger, I was rude and disconnected from them at that moment… which brought me guilt and self-disappointment afterward…
Hmmm…
I’m guessing the second one sounds more familiar?!
It’s ok!!! We’ve all been there…
You don’t need to feel guilty.
What if, when you feel the anger coming to you…although it is ok to feel it, instead of growing the momentum of that anger, you deny it’s right to stay too long in your thoughts, and you choose consciously to think of something else?
If you have something you’re passionate about, try and think or do that instead!
Sing, write, paint!
Then, come back and tell me how it felt.
Ps I’m new to all this blog/website editing, I like clear and clean spaces when I read…
But I’m also keen on doing it all by myself, so, Please…Be kind 🙂
I really want to know what are the triggers for you on this topic, I want to know if you’ve tried answering those questions and whether or not they’ve helped you in some way,…, so, feel free to leave me a comment…
Love U!
