We hear everywhere that, in life, you have to do what you like, that you have to follow your path to have a fulfilled life, that somewhere, in your childhood, lies the secret of the perfect life…
I think that the message sent is not a complete one and, therefore, it can have totally opposite effects.
First of all, the message, in its incomplete form, is not for everyone! Each of us are at different stages of development and self-awareness (if we are), therefore, we will not understand its amplitude in the same way.
For many, this kind of introspection, if we are at the stage where we are aware of the need for introspection, is frightening! On a conscious level, it will be translated with going out of the comfort zone, with intention, willfully, through action.
In the comfort zone are all those “social conditionings” and more, which we “assumed” starting from school, right?
What do I think, from my own experience and what I have observed around?
If we feel “as good as we can”, we do not reach introspection.
In addition, I think we are used to thinking in “black and white”, meaning that what is not good is bad! Therefore, adopting other behaviors or adding new interests is rejected, mentally, as something bad, as if you should leave everything behind, what you have done so far, and start something new.
I think we need to realize that we can introduce into the “program” new interests, behaviors, ideas, those that make our soul happy, that defined our childhood joy, little by little, so that we expand the comfort zone little by little, to also includes so that we can enjoy them.
That I think is the missing message part!
No one forces you, nor is it recommended, to give up everything you have been/done so far, and start completely different, to be another you.
I repeat…
I think we need to realize that we can introduce into the “program” new interests, behaviors, ideas, those that make our soul happy, that defined our childhood joy, little by little, so that we expand the comfort zone little by little, to also includes so that we can enjoy them!
It’s amazing what you can do if you spend some time with yourself!
Enjoy!
Love U!
